A Wonderful Christmas

The house is a little quieter today. We all got up early to take our oldest daughter and her boyfriend to the airport. Wish she could have stayed longer.
Thought I'd share a few pics of our Christmas Day.

I set my alarm for 8 am, got dressed, put some makeup on and brushed my hair, then went to get our girls up (who usually sleep until 11 am when they can). To my surprise, everyone was waiting for me in the living room!
Mr. Fanatic had already put our traditional Breakfast Casserole in the oven and it was ready by the time we finished opening all of our gifts.

After breakfast, the cooking began; while Mr. Fanatic cooked, I set the table. Nothing over the top this year, but we did get out the good china, silver and Waterford crystal.

We took one group photo so the food wouldn't get cold.

Mr. Fanatic cutting the prime rib. Yum, it was cooked perfectly!

Mr. F also baked some fresh garlic, romano pull apart rolls.

Gotta have veggies...

Mr. F also made my family's traditional cheese ravioli.

The prime rib...

Later on in the evening, Jenny's friend Emily came over and the "kids" played Cranium.

We can always count on Mr. F to act a little silly.

Sammy relaxed nearby.
That was our Christmas. Hope yours was as blessed as ours was.

Pam

ps: had to add this photo our youngest daughter took of us on Instagram

Hi Pam,
I loved your Christmas! It really looked a lot like ours...but ours was so much messier! Your house was gorgeous and so neat! I looked around at one point during the day and thought "I will NEVER see normal again!" Today is much better....not being Scroogy but had to get some Christmas down and get winter/snowmen up! Kansas is COLD today! ugh! A nice roaring fire in the fireplace!
Really enjoy your blog! ;0)
