Chalkboard Paint Projects

Hey everyone!
I hope I didn't totally confuse everyone with my post yesterday. Just to clear things up, I painted my favorite little table with diy chalkboard paint, not chalk-finish paint. As a few of you  pointed out, it is not the same thing.

Thought I'd show you a few of the great  chalkboard paint projects out there in blogland that I was talking about.

Design Sponge

Isabella and Max Rooms

Kate Spade NY Tumblr

Centsational Girl

Here are some great  black chalkboard paint projects:
Pottery Barn

Plaid Kids Crafts

Claremont Avenue

This colored chalkboard paint is $24.99 a quart. Ouch!

This colored chalkboard paint is $29.99 for a litre (almost 34 ounces). Bigger ouch!

I didn't know that Rust-oleum had a tintable chalkboard paint at a reasonable $12.98.

The colored chalkboard paint are limited color wise, so it's good to know that you can make your own, especially when you have leftover paint, or when you have a gazillion paint samples that you have no idea what to do with!

Hope you all have a terrific week!
If you missed the post and the recipe to make your own chalkboard paint, you can see it HERE.

I had no idea there were so many different chalkboard paint colors out there. I'm so behind on being in the loop. LOL! Beautiful inspiration here!
